How To Get To Martha's Vineyard...

By Car...
From New York: Follow I-95 to Providence, then take I-95 East through New Bedford to I-495 South (Route 25 East). cross the Bourne Bridge, and follow Route 28 South to Falmouth and Woods Hole.

From Boston: Take Route 3 to the Sagamore Bridge. Take Route 6 West, cross the Bourne Bridge and Follow Route 28 South

To bring your automobile to the island: Call the Martha's Vineyard Steamship Authority at 1 (508) 477-8600 or visit their website at: http://www.islandferry.com Or Call The Ferry Exchange at 1-(800) 983-9666 if you are planning to take your automobile to the Island. Reservations are required. If you are planning to leave your automobile on the mainland, you can park in the areas maintained by the Steamship Authority in Falmouth.

There is Year-Round Scheduled Service to Martha's Vineyard Airport from Boston, Hyannis, Nantucket, and New Bedford. Check with your Travel Agent for details
